¡¤The Second Group of ROC workforce for COES Training

   On request by ROC (Bohai), an Australian oil company operating in Chinese offshore, a second group of 17 delegates has undertaken the OPRC level 1 oil spill response training, provided by COES from 3 to 6 August at COES Tanggu official building.
   The few days training course both classroom teaching and workshop practice training, the delegates have shown their great interest toward the course delivered, which as they said, not only improve their commitment over the marine environment protection, also benefits in upgrade their competence in dealing with the impact of oil spill accident when occurs.
     
¡¤Training course for Fifth Detachment of Tianjin

In compliance with the agreement signed this May and on the invitation of the Fifth detachment of Armed Police in Tianjin, COES has conducted a training course for more than 80 delegates at the detachment¡¯s club.
The instructors from COES deliver the fundamental knowledge and equipment theory in August 17, 2006, referring to the response options, with the cases of oil spill impact at sea. The delegates have shown their great interests, thirst for the courses as such should be running for more times, so that they could master it quickly. They have yet indicated the wishes to visit COES for operational practice.
This training program has strengthened the competency of Fifth detachment personnel in dealing with oil spill accidents, stepped on the commitment on share of resources both personal and technologies. In addition to the existing response team, COES will be no doubt upgraded with fresh force supplied.
¡¤OPRC LEVEL ONE TRAINING COURSE FOR ZHU HAI TERMINAL

In compliance of agreement of contract between COES and CNOOC Zhuhai terminal, The team of instructors£¬Mr. Liu qibin, Mr. Qiao jiafu and Mr. Liu yuqing from COES£¬ has presented to the training event at Zhu hai terminal in 28, May 2006, to deliver the OPRC level one training course for the industrial delegates. The program of training course including two sections: 1.the foundation of oil spilling in completion of contents of the type of oil spilled, the impact and weathering of the oil spilt as well as the oil cleanup techniques. 2. The theory and practice in response facilities specified for Zhuhai terminal. The courses were conducted from 29 May to 3 June and from 10 to 15 June separately due to the workshop space limited. Two group of delegates 35 in total have passed the examination and assessment, were awarded OPRC level one certificate by end of training course. Counted by one was delivered in this March, this is secondary training course presented by COES.
