With assistance from CNOOC,China Offshore Environmental Service Ltd. - COES -, the first professional oil spill response organization in China, the official opening ceremony was celebrated in January 2003 in Beijing.
  The prime objective of COES is to provide oil spill response services at international standard for the oil and gas exploration and production operation companies in the BohaiBay, also provide the response training and recovery equipment maintenance services.
  COES offers Tier 2 oil spill response service and standby support for Tier 1 and Tier 3.
  COES has set up Network of resources for oil spill response centralized from its main base and headquarter in Tanggu Harbour , satellite bases to be located in Longkou and Suizhong. The service network has formed a complete system strategically covering BohaiBay.

   From now on, COES will continually provide of excellence in every details of performance, consistently improve and upgrade the level of services quality, to satisfy customers.
